Default mediteraneen sea

2 summers ago i travelled to spain and had the chance to dive near the Costa Brava; the water's temperature was somehow just like taking a big bath which was great. The only problem was the number of tourists wanting to try out diving, it wasn't a great plan for the relaxation and silence part!

Well, its always like that when you go in the peak season....
Once I went on a holiday, ( no diving ) when it was on a non-peak day for many countries, and I felt like I "owned" the whole resort!

I could imagine... instead of seeing fishes... all you see are more and more people in the water.
Makes it look like we are the specimens and the fishes are the divers...

roflmao!!
Yeah i bet , it must of been like playing a shark's role, you know like you see them do in the movies; swimming around peoples legs....you can see them, but they don't always see you...could be a good plan for a pervert!

Wow. Tourists were never really something I thought about when diving. How often does that become an issue?

That would kill my dive i think, to end up in a coral of human feet...
It realy isn't what i go fo when i plan a dive. Touristique places are a nightmare in summer

I am off to the costa brava for my holidays in a month time.
Do you know any good places to dive at? (well i'd prefer avoiding the feet mass if you don't mind!)

Well i often go to the Costa brava but mostly to take the family to the beach (yeah i have 3 kids!) and it's always very crowded. The weather and sea are realy lovely over there, nice and warm and the sand soft on the feet but it's verrrrrry touristic; going a little down south could be better
