What are you....never mind no need to go there. Gloves get shredded holding on to stuff in strong current or as was described to me once "some surge" It was like rock climbing in 0 vis in a hurricane. I loved it! The really cool guys have kevlar gloves and only occasionally need tetanus shots. The rest of us duck tape the tears and keep our shots current. Besides my hands get numb in the cold.

By the way the Loch thingy was a sumerged feeding station for Nessie till he molted into an investment banker. I believe he's a Tory now. Living in a posh London suburb. The only way you could guess it's him is he's a little slicker then the rest!

I have the kevlar ones and have a real problems with needles so I can escape the shots.

You're wrong about the feeding station. The Loch Ness Thingy is really the remains of a UFO landing pad hence the lights. It's why we never see them. They land underwater and, IT WAS ME WHO SOLVED THE MYSTERY!!!

Yes, I go with the Kevlar ones too. As for needing shots - I have found that sucking on cut fingers and then consuming vast amounts of alcohol after the dive means that I don't need to worry about tetanus.

Hmmm..... UFO landing pad or Tory investment banker?? I think you two guys seriously need to get out more!

I have that technique built into my Medic courses.

I do get out. It's just I don't feel quite right when breathing air.

Default Gloves

I get a good year out of Endurotech gloves, they are not cheap but they do last and keep you warm. Forget them if you are into photography as they are no use.

PS SteveCT when are you doing your next medic course.....
