Default Diving in Utila, Honduras

I was looking for a good place to dive in the Caribbean and came across the Bay Islands and Utila. From what I've seen it looks great, can anybody give me some advice?

I have been in Roatan 3 times and would highly recommend it. I have also heard very good things about Utila. One diver who was with a group joined us for two days in Roatan and join up with some other friends in Utila later that week. When we saw him at the airport he said Utila was fantastic.

Been to Roatan 2 times and going again in May. Was in Utilia 10 yrs ago. Stayed at the Utilia Lodge, was not impressed with the lodge what so ever, but the diving was good, just wish I'd been there during Whale Shark season.

Can you descibe time of year and weather conditions? I've heard late year is the rainy season.
Also, did you come across other accomodations that looked better than where you stayed?

We were there in Sept and we were in the begining of a hurricane. The seas were choppy, but it stirred up the water and we saw a lot of stuff.

As for other places to stay, don't know. I did just get some info on the Mango Inn, and they also have a DVD (free) showing their place. It looked rather nice. If you go, let me know.
