My husband and I are planning a trip to the caribbean for our 10th anniversary next year. We were hoping to go back to Grand Cayman's Spanish Bay Reef Resort as we are both diver's and we also got married there. However, it looks as though they are closed until further notice. So now we are undecided as to whether we should return to Grand Cayman or go elsewhere. We have been doing a little research for the Cayman islands, Cozumel, Hondurus and Belize, but don't have any experience with those locations other then Grand Cayman. We would prefer to go to an "all-inclusive" dive resort if possible, but are open to other possibilitiess. Does anyone have any recommendations/experience with resorts and diving in any of those locations that might help us make our decision?

It depends on what you want. Roatan (Honduras) has some great diving ... Cozumel has drift diving. Belize.... I would try one of the atolls. We were in Grand Cayman last summer... and I didn't like their approach to diving. Cayman Brac is wonderful.... if you still want the Caymans.

Roatan, Cocoview Resorts, room over the water very private and quite. The diving is amazing. They have a website to check it out. Been there three times loved each time. Next Grand Cayman, the first place I stayed is blown out due to there last hurricane. Last year I returned at stayed at I Cobolt Coast, and divetech is the dive operation. They have a great house reef, and offer boat diving. The meal plan is weird but do able. The Resort is first class. I have friends who say Cayman Brac or Little Cayman are better for diving. Petty much all they have on those islands. Have fun where ever you choose.
