OK, here 's the deal. My long suffering bride and I are planning our 35th wedding anniversary (yes, to each other since you asked). We have settled on Belize. I could use some suggestions.

Essential info. My wife is a beach bunny who might stick a foot in the water to cool off. (literally she dosen't get her face wet when she takes a shower, really) She wants a beautiful beach, blue water, palm trees and no family style eating. She wants a place that will let us eat at a table by ourselves and talk ( yes, even after all this time. no, she's not on medication) A smaller resort. Not interested in shopping (you read right , she's a gem!) Just wants to relax.

Me? I want to dive. Blue hole? (Talk? come on I'm a guy!)

Any suggestions? Ambergris? A Caye? Placencia?
